Well being

My conception of well being

My conception of well-being could be defined as a life that is composed of as many enriching and meaningful experiences as possible, which are the experiences that stem from a manner of existence that is in accordance with the values of the inner self – or the soul if you will – leading to the involvement and the cultivation of it. But it is also the experiences that have contributed to the awareness and development of what the soul values and its capacity for cultivation. The latter will not always be wanted or sought after in the moment, for sometimes, it requires a higher capacity for cultivation than the current state of their soul permits. In cases like these, it is often necessary for the soul not to seek after what it actually values but instead indulge in experiences not deemed enriching or meaningful, for then it will be in a state of lacking; it must endure this state indefinitely until it becomes aware that the manner of existence it finds itself in is not what it truly desires, at which point its capacity for cultivation has increased, and it will seek an existence aligned with its values. And all of these experiences combined will lead to a feeling of contentment at the end of one’s life; this contentment encompasses any and all experiences, for the person whom it concerns realises that all experiences, whether experienced as positive or negative, contain enriching and meaningful qualities, whether they were deemed as such or not, and have all contributed in their own way to the culmination of their current soul – which can only be described as satisfied.
This, then, is what I believe to be well-being.
